Blind Justice

Come see what we have created ,see what the human race has done
All the things that we have hated has come and murdered someone’s son
Was it during the cold dark night
That’s not always when cruelty is in sight
Yet time for some to do as they please
Without fear or begging to put them at ease
Brutally he killed his victim
Repeating the past and escaping the system
Why this happened no one seems to know
Yet we are left to see the blood bath show
The child was missing more than a day
Family praying that he just ran away
Reported later where findings of body parts
Parts of a child who is now in all of our hearts
A child who’s innocent’s was his only crime
Helping out his neighbors from time to time
A mother will go through never ending pain
For she didn’t know that her neighbor was insane
A sick man who’d murdered before
Yet information was swept under a secret door
A child exposed it by death, not a key
Behind the door lies Blind Justice we all must see
